On one side of a deep chasm are thousands of diverse Arkansans of all ethnicities, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds. They’re eager to work in technology and other critical sectors to make a positive difference in their families and communities. But they have a challenge to overcome.
They need to know that these fields are not out of reach for them. And they need the training and mentorship to prepare them to join one of the many Arkansas employers – on the other side of the chasm – ready to hire them.
Without these tools, many Arkansans and their communities will be left behind, unable to reach their full potential.

Many Arkansans are eager to enter the workforce but have little or no access to the additional training needed to make them job-ready. Working with our training partners, ACDS guides career seekers through the process of becoming professionals in IT, manufacturing, energy and other in-demand sectors. Regardless of their current skill level, we offer comprehensive training solutions that prepare them for a successful career.
