Explore the Benefits of Our Work-Based-Learning Internship Program

Launch Your IT Career with Meaningful Work Experience.

ACDS recognizes that landing your first job in the IT field can be challenging. Our Work-Based-Learning Internship Program offers individuals the opportunity to gain the IT work experience needed to launch their new careers. Ninety percent of ACDS interns have successfully transitioned into full-time IT positions, including roles in software engineering, data science & analytics, IT help desk, and many others.

What Is Work-Based Learning?

Work-based learning provides candidates with authentic work experiences where they apply professional development and technical skills that support success in IT professional careers.

A Win-Win for Both Employers & Career Seekers.

The ACDS Work-Based-Learning (WBL) Internship Program creates a win-win solution for both employers and interns. It enables interns to acquire valuable skills and experience in the IT industry at the start of their careers. Simultaneously, employers gain the advantage of extra IT talent on their team, and the interns’ wages are covered by ACDS, subject to specific guidelines.

Our Work-Based-Learning program provides interns with the opportunity to develop and practice skills in data analytics, web & software development, cybersecurity, networking, project management, and more.

Hear From Our Previous Interns.

"I worked with ACDS through the Work-Based Learning Program to help me find my next role, which turned out to be a three-month internship in graphic design and UX design with a company called IIC. After the internship ended, I worked closely with Ashley and Kristen at ACDS and landed an apprenticeship with Dentsu, the global marketing and advertising company."
Amber Y.
"Overall, it was more than what I was expecting. After looking back at my experience, I'm very proud of myself for taking advantage of every learning opportunity that I had. Future interns will have the opportunity to get their hands on real IT situations, learn how to work with an IT team, and learn things way above your expertise. ACDS has given me a boost in my IT career, and I'm very thankful for it."
